But don't be like the Spuds fan a couple of years back:

He's in the pub with is girlfriend and Spuds are beating Man U 3-0 at half time.
The boy's showing off now, so he nips into the bookie's nextdoor and bets his house on a Spuds win. Given the odds, he'll win enough to buy them a decent dinner.

Man U go on to win 5-3.
