because kroenke is a billionaire not a millionaire.
he is contacting shareholders not the board of directors. as usual most bloggers are too young to know the difference.

I know Hill-Wood and co will save Arsenal by resisting that American who is destabilising the club. Sale to KROENKE is not a good idea; we don't need him.Arsenal is self-surficient.He can go to Spurs.

So is Stan Kroenke talking shit or what?
Have I missed something because as far as I have ever seen, Stan Kroenke has not said anything to the media at all. Why can't people actually wait for the guy to make his intentions clear before they jump to conclusions. Maybe he wants a partnership like he has with St Louis or maybe he wants full control, maybe it will be his own money or maybe it will be loans. The point is nobody knows because he likes to keep his business private, amazingly he gets slated for that, yet the current board are exactly the same & they get praised for it. Personally I want whats best for Arsenal fc, if thats the current board then great, but if its Stan Kroenke then thats also fine. I'm sick of hearing about Arsenal remaining English when we have a first team full of foreign players & a foreign manager. Maybe people should just a grip!!

Redtop your comments are 100% spot on mate. The "little englanders" comments are so hypocritcal in light of the multi-national squad now at the club but I do suspect that if this takeover bid was coming from an englishman opposition to it would be greatly reduced. To me this suggests that fans are more anti-kroenke than pro the current board

We don't need Kroenke , he can go and buy Spurs. Arsenal is already well-managed and earnings have tripled with match days, conferences, seminars etc. We built the stadium from borrowings and Arsenal fans are already paying high ticket prices to repay; we can't allow the mustached American to borrow to buy the club and dump the loans on us in a leveraged buy out. He's coming in to reap what he's not sown. I trust Hill-Wood and the board. They've toiled for Arsenal for decades and they won't give way for this later-day-saint to run Arsenal to the middle ages with huge loans ala Leeds. He needs at least 7oo million pounds and with his worth of 1.7 billion US Dollars, he will only borrow. We don't need him. Arsenal is already secured. Hill-Wood has postponed his retirement and I know they are taking steps to fight the yankee if he attempts a takeover. The only thing the yankees do best is to produce bombs and drop on innocent mothers and children in poor countries. He can go and buy SPURS. We don't need him and his sorts. AESEDUP and ARSENAL NEWS REVIEW are doing PR for him but they will fail because what they're doing is SIN.

Mark, I'm talking about his net worth as reported not his gross, there is a difference. Talking about his wife's money. You think his wife will sell his shares in Walmart she inherited from his father to enable KROENKE to buy Arsenal? He will borrow to buy and two methods will be available for them regarding repayments. They can choose to take the debt off Arsenal books but then, Arsenal will pay huge dividends to enable him to repay the debt he's taken ala LIVERPOOL or they place the debt on the books of Arsenal and the club will service it ala MANU. In all cases, the repayments will be coming from Arsenal fans. In any case, we don't need KROENKE and his money 'cos Arsenal is financially secured with stadium inflows. As for investments in players is Wenger who don't want to utilise funds given him by the Board but not that funds are not given him as some fans wants the world to know. This year he was given 40, then Henry,16, Ali,2, muamba 2, Stokes 2, but he's spent only 20. Can you blame the Board if he now says he's not bringing in another striker? WE DON'T NEED KROENKE.

I live in the United States and can't understand why folks would want Stan to purchase Arsenal? These folks don't love Arsenal or love football like the current board members do, it's all about how much profit can be made. Take a look at the Denver Nuggets and understand that they are profitable but not winning a darn thing, for folks like Stan once it's profitable they don't really care about a championship.
We have to understand that Arsene plan is to groom the best young talents in the world to be great football players and I will stress we have to be patient for another two years when his plans will be successful. We are currently more skilled in every position than Chelsea or Man U. Our young players only lack the ability to combine their skill with power and that will come with Age. In two years Cesc will be 23, Theo will be 20, Denilson will be 20, Diaby will be 22, Vela will be 21, Kolo will only be 27, Eboue will be 25, Rosicky will be 28 and all we would have lost will be Gilberto, Gallas, Lehman and Freddy, Arsenal already have replacements for each of these players. Chelsea and Man U. will go under trying to purchase player to compete with Arsenal if Arsene can keep this group of players together. Please let's not worry about Arsene leaving the club, he will never have this kind of control at any other big club.
