SearchArsenal concern over Missing CampbellDavid 03rd February 2006 Sol Campbell has not been seen since leaving Highbury on Wednesday evening. The club says they do not know where he is, or when they will see him again. Bobby Pires is quoted as having told a French radio station. "We want to tell him and make him understand that we are behind him whatever happens. We all have difficult times in our careers. It is hard for him to face up to the situation, but he is not alone. He knows that and we have told him." Trackback address for this postTrackback URL (right click and copy shortcut/link location) 4 comments

I saw the entry on Arsenal for life and it saddened me. One of arsenals most consistant players of the last couple of years and after having one bad season everyone seems to be turning on him. I'm guessing it's all the glory hunters who started supporting arsenal when they were at the top and now arsenal are re-shaping their team they want somone to blame for the bad form and it looks like they have chosen sol.
I'm not even an arsenal supporter but I like sol and feel that the team and most importantly the fans should get behind him. The only way he is going to get back to playing his best is with alot of support and I just hope he gets it. I think it is disgusting what the papers can do to players going through bad times and apparently some stories are set to be released this sunday regarding his personal life. I just hope he doesn't take it too personally because if he quits the game then i think it would be a big loss for the premier league. As a portsmouth supporter sometimes I am happy that we will probably be going down this season. Because the things you read in the paper about your team, players etc are jsut so nasty and you get all the johnny come latelys moaning about players and the team when things are going wrong.

Ben , good post fella. The team certainly are offering support, but you saw today some so called fans certainly are not.

I just wanted to know whether u guys knew Ryan Garry.. he made an incredible debut at left back and then never saw him again.. I was wondering why wenger isn't picking him... Where as for Sol he is and will be our rock in the back at least till the end of next season.. I think Wenger has done a good thing in giving him time off so that he gains his psychological strength again... Where as for the game against Birmingham i hope walcott gets a chance to impress :-)
