Honors even in this one ,Both defenses playing particularly well with some important blocks and again probably a fair result Overall. Certainly a couple of talking points, Shrek should probably have had a red card for his handball, though to be honest, his yellow for the collision with Reyes seemed a little harsh, though he probably deserved one for the fact he doesn't know when to shut the fuck up.


The other big question was should we have had a penalty when Neville seemed to get more of Cesc than the ball, i am not sure if it was or not,Neville did get a touch on the ball,though I don't think it would have been a big shock to see it given. One thing for sure, it was certainly more of one than Shreks was at Old Trafford last season.

Follow up:

Again for large periods of the game when we have the ball, we seem to try and pass it into the net, i find myself shouting for someone to have a shot, but they all seem to want to lay the ball off for someone else. Cesc went close with a drive from the edge of the box after 10 minutes, and Bobby Pires also brought a good save from Van Der Sar, but the best chance of the first half fell to United when Van Horsey had a shot well saved by Leymann, only for the Twinkle Toed Portugese Ponce to sky it over the bar.. thank fuck !.


Second half both teams had chances, , and we were hanging on towards the end, Cygan was starting to get more and more exposed as the game went on, the T.T.P.P giving him a torrid time, though he did dive to try and get Cygan sent off, the Poncy Potugese Cunt.





I have wrote this just after the game, and on Fox we don't get to here what the Boss says, but I think tonight we showed there is not too much wrong, and all this bollox in the papers is just that bollocks.


It would be nice to seem some other option to our play at times, United were happy to let us pass it across the pitch in front of the penalty area , and we didn't really look like finding a way through like that.I think this shows we how much we miss Ashley Cole, Cygan can't offer the same options going forward and that makes it easier to defend against us at the moment,Saying that,although we have not Scored in our last 2 games, we have not conceded in 4, and thats encouraging and will give the defense confidence.


Lets hope the players take heart from this and take it on for the rest of 2006.


And on a final note, nice to hear Van Horsey getting some abuse.
