How come Dermot Gallagher didn't give a red card for the tackle on Diaby ?? And why didn't Macarthy get at least 1 yellow card and wrninigs about his tackling???
The tackle on Diaby looked bad at normal speed but in slow mo you can see exactly how bad it was - we aren't getting the right protection from this sort of play - Bolton set the standard to use to stop us playing football, now the referees have got to clamp down on this sort of play before more skill players are kicked out of the game - and I am not just talking about Arsenal now!!

I have never seen such hatred shown towards another clubside in this country and i mean it! Referees will never protect Arsenal players because it is the banter going around that Arsenal play continental football and play with more flair than the English push and run. For once, none of the haters of Arsenal could stop the team from getting into the CL Final, not even Ivanov (referee) of Russia. I hope things get better next season but not unless these hating referees are rendered jobless. A number of them hate Arsenal. Believe it or not. Just because there aren't good numbers of English players in the team. We don't have £24m to buy ineffective and over-hyped English players. If a good one comes along .... we will buy (eg Carrick). What happened to Diaby is a shame! Dermot has reeally peased me off as a referee.
