Fulham 0 v 4 Arsenal

What a difference a week makes. The Gooners down at the club watching this game Live felt this was our best performance of the season. The fact it was also away from home was even more pleasing. I am not going into a 'ball by ball' report, Richard Clark has already done that, better than me. I will just give my opinion based on watching the game live game here.
Make no mistake this was pure quality. Arsenal were unstoppable today, Henry unplayable, Freddie was back making those runs and assisted on 2 goals, one for Adebeyor, and another for Henry. Even though he can’t buy a goal at the moment, he was back like the Freddie we know. Once again, Eboue was impressive at right back and Diaby in the middle was excellent. I think once he gets used to the pace and physical demands of the English game, he will be outstanding.
Other than about 5 minutes after half time, Fulham didn’t really cause us any problems, and watching the match, every time we went forward you felt we could score, its been a while since we had that feeling watching Arsenal away from home !
Fulham of course are no Blackburn, they were never going to give us the type of game that we got at Ewood Park, the key for Arsenal now is to learn how to cope with that type of play against us. I hope that will come from experience because what we saw today is that if we are allowed to play football we will be a match for anyone.
This performance should give the players a huge confidence boost ahead of the game against Madrid next Wednesday and if we continue to play like this we should have no problems making the quarter finals.
I think the best summary of how good we were in this game came from the Fulham manager Chris Coleman.
It was the worst performance we have had at home this season but that was the best display from an Arsenal team against us.
Thierry Henry put in one of the best performances I have ever seen and they sent out a warning sign to everybody else.
We have got no complaints because we were poor on the day. We didn't create any chances and they looked like scoring every time they came forward.
Like I say, this was class, a real team performance, with Henry leading from the front with a true captain's display.
Lets hope for more of the same on Wednesday.
