Birmingham 0 v 2 Arsenal


After what has been a tough time , we finally lift the gloom with an away win.


Goals from new signing Emmanuel Adebayor in the 21st minute and Thierry Henry in the 63rd , his 200th for the gooners, gave us a much needed victory.


The game was shown live over here, and I was impressed with the performances of Adebayor, and Diaby, it is early days, but both did very well. Diaby to me looks like he can be something special, Adebayor, reminds me of Kanu, his hold up play was good, and he worked hard for the team, the fact he only joined up with the side on Wednesday ,made his debut even more impressive for me. I can see why Diaby is getting compared with Vieira, he is strong, skillfull, and gets everywhere, of course its early days, but he has the talent to become a big name at Arsenal, time will tell if thats the case.


Also have to say Jens Lehmann had a good game today, he was influential on a young and inexperienced defence, and also made a superb early save at 0-0 from Jarosik which if it had gone in, may have made for a different game.


We did look nervous at the back, and high balls into the box we causing some problems, espeically wiht Heskey in there, but for once we had some luck on our side, and we came through with a clean sheet, something i would not have bet on before the game.


All in all a good day, 3 Points away from home, and Sol made a call to the manger to say he's ok and we will be in next week, which is nice .
