New Signing and alleged Mentalist Emmanuel Adebayor is looking to start his Arsenal career a few weeks earlier than planned after a falling out with his national team boss Stephen Keshi at the African Nations Cup.

The new Gooner has accused his national boss on trying to cut himself in on his dream move to Arsenal, claiming Keshi was trying to act as his agent.

"I am leaving Egypt and I am going to call Arsene Wenger to see if I can go back to Arsenal” said the angry striker.

"It is as if I had been told I had just lost my mother. I have resigned, I am leaving.

"Like everyone else, the manager wanted to be my agent.

"He said he wanted to take me to England. But who is he? He is manager of Togo, not an agent."

The final straw came when the manager informed Adebayor he would be starting on the bench in Togo’s opening match, then just before kick-off telling him he would be in the starting line-up.

"He knew I was no longer in the right state to play, that I was demoralised. That way he could say after the match I wasn't motivated.

"But I have worked like a dog for my country. The African Nations Cup is finished for me."

Sounds like he could be back at Arsenal soon then, but with Adebayor, nothing is ever simple, so don't bank on it.
