So the boss wanted us to start with Cardiff and end with Wembley. Of course with the builders of the new Wembley still waiting for a skip, it may well still end at Cardiff this year. I could say it ended in Cardiff and its started with Cardiff,as we begin the defence of the Trophy but enough wise ass literacy, and on with the rather short review.
Quite a few changes to the side today, Titi had gone for a look around the Nou Camp so he wasn't playing ,Kolo and Manu were told to to join up with the Ivory Coast, Sol and Cesc were rested but fortunately Bobby Pires had his shooting boots on and his two early goals meant the result was not really in doubt from that point on. The last few minutes were a little edgy due to one of the sheep shaggers just about getting the ball over the line, and the ref or linesman deciding it was a goal.Infact the same sheep shagger almost scored in the first minute but he put the ball over the baaaaar. That could have made for a different game, fortunately it didn't and the gooners march on to round four.
